Newbury Shutters - Lantern Roof Blinds for Modern Home Across Newbury & West Berkshire

Roof Lanterns allow light to pour into a room, but do significantly reduce solar heat gain, glare and strong sunlight within a room. It’s great to have light pouring into the room but the heat generated by the sun and the heat loss in the winter months are pricy problems.

SkyTrak lantern roof blinds allow you to control this light effectively while maintaining the bright, open feel that roof lanterns are designed to provide. The system uses a pleated cellular fabric combined with a concealed belt-drive mechanism, allowing the blind to operate smoothly across large glazed areas without the need for visible guide wires.

SkyTrak lantern roof blinds are fully motorised, making them ideal for installations where the glazing is positioned high above floor level. The motor is solar charged, so no cables are required and is controlled by a handset.

The Pleated Fabric is cellular (honeycomb), and is light filtering or blackout. The most popular colour is white, since most ceiling are white.
